We’d like to share with you several of the recent “happenings” at CCC that we are thankful for. They aren’t huge items – but we believe each little step is a step in the right direction and we prayerfully continue to seek God’s guidance as we desire to serve Him in our community and around the world.

• Sign. We’ve purchased and installed a new, larger, more colorful sign. We’ve also installed a small spotlight that shines on the sign at night to make it visible in the dark.
• AWANA. James Young has volunteered as our new AWANA Commander. In August he attended their multi-day training college in West Virginia and has been working hard to invigorate and expand our AWANA program since then. We are thankful for the many old and new volunteers who are ensuring the AWANA program moves forward full force and are existed for the nineteen children we registered on opening night!
• Projector. We moved from overhead to digital projection and this has become a regular part of our services – including (most recently) announcements, purpose statement, and scripture projected prior to the service.
• Sound. Thanks to the hard work of several volunteers at the church a significant number of additional lines have been run for the sound and equipment has been upgraded or reconfigured.
• Finger Food. We have a finger food fellowship almost every week and this week we experienced the unexpected surprise of running out of food and drinks…and not because people were hungrier than usual.
• Towel Dispensers. We have purchased and are in the process of upgrading our towel dispensers from home ones to commercial ones – this will help us reduce costs in supplies while providing a higher level of service and more easily maintaining an inventory of supplies.
• Choir. The choir sang this morning and did a beautiful job. Afterwords two additional individuals joined the choir.

We could go on and on – but the point is, in many small ways and thanks to the dedication of numerous volunteers – we are slowly and steadily (by the grace of God) moving forward. We’d love your prayers as we continue to move forward and, of course, feel to drop in and visit!

We also recognize that there is much yet to be done. We are not content to sit around with our current progress but will continue to endeavor to improve in every area.
